New Business & Account Director – London, EC1 - £35 - £45K + bonuses

THE ROLE Due to expansion, they wish to hire an additional account director for their team of new business consultants and account directors. You will join a team of 6 consultants in a 50-headcount, bright and contemporary, open-plan office in EC1. You will lead a team of four individuals, and with the help of unparalleled tools and data, your focus will be to advise, support and drive the development of new business opportunities for a number of leading marketing agency clients. The role covers every aspect of intelligent new business development, including market and competitor intelligence, brand positioning, messaging, targeting, communications programmes, marketing collateral and credentials, RFI/RFP prep, OJEU monitor, pitch consultancy, attending and facilitating meetings, liaison with marketing partners and above all, the provision of thoughtful, well-researched counsel to the Boards of established and growing agencies on a regular basis.

YOU A high-achiever, you are hungry, driven, intelligent and a very fast learner with superb attention to detail. You are highly organised, presentable, have a positive attitude, and a great communicator at all levels. You must be able to manage others well. You’ll have proven experience in new business development roles ideally within marketing services and you’ll clearly be able to demonstrate your personal contribution to the success of the companies you have worked for. Good references are essential.

You're looking for a role with plenty of responsibility and autonomy, but with excellent support and training and a fantastic opportunity for rapid progression, within a growing and dynamic company. The base-line salary is £35 to 45K plus bonuses depending on experience.
