Job: Account Director, Barker Graves

This leading direct marketing agency specialising in non-profit causes, needs a fully DM literate Account Director to work across two of their leading charity accounts. 

The agency is all about outstanding service, breakthrough results and inspirational fundraising, and this role offers a real chance to take responsibility for the client-servicing and maintaining long-term profitable business relationships.

For this role, you’ll:

• Be fully DM literate, and have experience of managing a team and be able to develop skills in others. • Preferably have some charity experience. Agency experience is essential • Have good CRM experience and good communication skills. • Have an ability to take the initiative, a keen attention to detail and good analytical skills. • Be outgoing, with a good sense of humour and calm under pressure. • You’ll be assertive, clear thinking, and unafraid of speaking out in meetings, but also sensitive and measured. • Be self-aware and also aware of others

Core responsibilities will include:

• Developing and proactively maintaining close working relationships with relevant members of assigned client organisations. • Guiding and supervising SAMs, AMs and AEs within the team to ensure that a friendly, personal, highly professional service at all times. • Ensure that client invoicing and other general administration is completed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner. • Taking a proactive lead in the provision of strategic guidance to assigned clients, through ad-hoc advice and the development of formal marketing and fundraising programmes to enable them to achieve their objectives in a cost-effective manner.
