Experience of managing retailer/own-label brands? Strong commercial, project management and analytical thinking skills? As retailer own brands become a bigger part of consumers shopping baskets, this is a super opportunity to join a major FMCG business, a key player in a massive food category. In this hands-on customer-facing role, you will work with accounts to develop a customer brand strategy, ensuring that this aligns with over-arching category strategy and business and brand objectives. Managing all aspects of the process, you will help identify product and NPD opportunities based on insight, set pricing levels, manage products through the stage-gate process and advise on promotional or display/POS initiatives.
Our Ideal Candidate
To meet the challenges of this role, you may already be working as a retailer brand marketing expert and be looking for the next step up. You could also be a trade or category/customer marketer wanting to become more marketing orientated, or possibly a project manager wanting to show off your skills but drive more commerciality into your thinking. You must have experience of working with the UK trading channels within FMCG and be able to demonstrate best in class project management. Your communication & influencing skills will be excellent as you will deal with many different stakeholders within and outside the business and will be able to prioritise, manage and deliver initiatives for a number of retailers.
