Account Manager - SP
This is a great opportunity to join an award winning out of town agency following some very large account wins. You would be working on a global FMCG brand and focus on through the line marketing communications. It would suit a confident AM/SAM who has a strong personality and plenty of experience working on SP and POS campaigns preferably for FMCG clients.

- Strategic and analytic in approach to briefs
- Consultancy approach to service delivery
- Thorough knowledge of the categories you are dealing with and ability to
demonstrate knowledge, researching markets/categories as required
- Demonstrate profitable growth of client accounts though wide-ranging
account management skills
- Ability to set budgets, expectations and deliver results under pressure
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills at all times
- Exceptional verbal, written and communication skills
- Ability to interrogate, structure and respond to briefs.
- Liaising with clients at all levels, display good judgment at all times.
Preferred Skills
- Thorough understanding of sales promotion and below the line techniques
(min 3/4 years experience in a below the line role or similar)
- ISP or CIM qualified /or having similar level of proven experience
- Ability to propose, in detail, mechanics that are both legal and feasible within current sales promotion law to both clients and colleagues
- Thoroughly understand the fundamentals both consumer and trade marketing
- Mentoring skills for junior members of the team
Specific activities include:
- Internal development of team members and knowledge sharing
- Managing a Client team
- Reporting to Board and Management Team with regular updates on performance
- Learning the objectives of the client and acting upon knowledge shared
- Formulating strategies and setting targets
- Reporting to the client
- Time reporting of the client team
