Job: Publisher/Managing Editor – Dubai, Formula Won

We are looking for an experienced Publisher who will be responsible for the profitability of a large portfolio of lifestyle titles. 

You must have a very strong track record across editorial, marketing, circulation and sales and have been a Publisher within a publishing company working across a portfolio of consumer titles. This is a very senior position. Must be prepared to relocate to Dubai.

Your Profile:
•Educated to degree level with either a journalism/English qualification
•Significant experience as a Publisher within a publishing company, you will possess substantial commercial acumen
•Strong knowledge of the editorial and production process for Magazines
•Demonstrable experience troubleshooting editorial and production across a portfolio of colour publications
•An excellent command of the English language with the ability to edit, mark up and proof read magazines
•The ability to deliver accurate results to deadline
•Man management experience needed

The Role:
Reporting to the Editor in Chief, you will take responsibility for the profitability of a portfolio of English language weekly and monthly consumer magazines across men’s and women’s lifestyle, fashion, beauty, real estate and interiors. You will play a pivotal role in the overall direction of the magazines, including editorial, marketing, circulation and sales. You will set budgets, allocate and control costs, whilst directing the editorial and production teams across all of the publications.
