THE ROLE
An opportunity has arisen to take on the dual role of managing a major FMCG retail business for one of the UK’s biggest chef brands as well as two high profile high street fashion brands. Working as account and brand manager with a strong portfolio of licensees in food and non-food sectors, you will influence strategy and guide new range development for the brands, ensure media impact and grow the business – creating new partnerships under licence and managing existing partnerships for maximum results.
THE CANDIDATE
The key day-to-day tasks include:
- being the first point of contact for the client; communicating with them daily
- managing existing portfolios of licensees and working with in-house category managers to negotiate and nurture new licensing deals
- directing range development by actively pursuing new product development opportunities (both food and non-food), and managing approval process
- liaising with key retail contacts and building retailer relationships
- overseeing strategic brand development and undertaking market analysis
- co-ordinate marketing activity between the licensor, licensees and PR agency
- there are also opportunities to manage other brands and product category sales across The Partnership's brands, as well as bring in new business.
The successful candidate will:
- have experience in brand licensing, account management, rights and contract negotiation
- be energetic, determined, goal-driven
- able to multi-task/prioritise, and work well under pressure
- have a flexible, creative, problem-solving attitude
- write accurately, fluently and persuasively
