Product Development Manager / Consultant (Retail Banking / Unsecured Loans)

Salary:       £30-45+ Package                         Location:          London

Product Development Role Overview:

Sitting within a division encompassing product design & development, category management and product strategy, you will play a key role in supporting the provision of new products & services for this major retail bank. You will provide assistance to the division manager and the board to support the decision making process for all aspects of new product development. You will investigate market trends and analyse competitor & customer behaviour, aiming to provide analytical insights into the best actions to take to maximise product and brand performance.

The Person:

This role will be well suited to a candidate with a solid background in product management and product development. You will have commercial experience of the following:

- Proven experience of managing product lines and developing new products / services for market

- Experience of gathering, analysing and interpreting data / insight from competitors, customers and the wider market. You will have experience of using these sources of information to help position your product and brand effectively to maximise business performance

- Engaging with internal and external partners on changes and developments to products

Experience of working within Retail Banking and / or Personal Loans is advantageous. Candidates with solid experience in transferable industry sectors, such as utilities, telecoms etc will also be considered.
