Sales & Marketing Manager Role Overview:
As Sales Performance & Marketing Manager for this major retail banking group, you will promote & develop sales & marketing activities across all multi brand products & channels to achieve maximum performance against targets. You will create sales campaigns that respond to changing market conditions and customer behaviour, analyse sales performance and promote cross sales through all channels and brands. You will work closely with executive level management to agree sales targets for product lines and aim to continuously support and develop relationship strategies for direct channels. Working closely with product management and dedicated channel teams, your overall aim will be to improve sales and increase 'share of wallet' by responding to customer needs and improving the customer experience.
The Person:
This role will be well suited to a candidate with a broad knowledge of sales performance, marketing, branding, channel development and product development. You will possess commercial experience in the following:
- The creation of sales campaigns to achieve targets for specific product lines. You will have experience of monitoring and analysing performance and adapting campaigns in line with trends to achieve maximum potential
- Building knowledge and managing relationship strategies with channels and accross brands. You will need to provide support and training to ensure targets are met across all channels
- Working with product development and management teams to gather customer information that helps to improve sales and increase share of wallet, by understanding and responding to customer behaviour
- Evaluating and monitoring competitor activity and market intelligence insights
You will have strong communciation skills and be looking for the opportunity to further your career with a large brand. Ideally, however not essentially, you will have expereince in retail banking &/or personal loans. Experience of working within telephone banking or online media channels would also be beneficial, but again, not essential
