Sales Planning Manager Overview:
Sales Planning and Performance Manager required to work for this major retail bank, based in London. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring product lines hit agreed sales targets. You will take ownership of campaigns and initiatives, consistently aiming to maintain momentum and tracking performance. You will be responsible for delivering MI and feedback on performance to the business and will monitor changing market trends, competitor behaviour, channel performance and possible legislation / regulations that may affect sales. You will be responsible for delivering clear commentary and advice to the business on sales performance.
The Person:
This role will be well suited to a candidate with solid experience of maintaing and reporting on sales / campaign performance. You will have a rounded background in marketing practices and sales planning and will display strong commercial acumen and a knowledge of external factors and their affects on sales performance. Your experience will include:
- Running, monitoring and providing thorough performance updates, MI and feedback on campaign performance
- Ensuring that sales promotions, campaigns and strategies reflect current trends. You should have experience of monitoring competitor behaviour, market trends and other key drivers of sales and feeding back to the business on your findings
- Ensuring that sales planning takes relevant regulations / legistations into account
- Maintaining relationships and providing support on sales planning and promotion to channel teams and senior management
You will need to be a strong communicator with excellent organisation skills and the ability to work in a fast paced enviornment. You will be given the opportunity to further your career in retail banking and personal loans. Experience in a financial services would be beneficial, however not essential.
