Supports in delivering new products through the NPD process
Updating NPD documents / Tracking weekly Co-coordinating input from the markets for new products - Estimates (Tracking & Updating) - Updating e-profile as required - Loading status dates •Updating Brand Plans and distributing to Commercial Teams weekly •Creating and updating New Product Concepts in the Operating System •Taking ownership of pack copy writing and approval process for all new products Conducting Cost Approvals for the products Costing /Tracking Comps for new products
Shaping regional growth strategy for the brand with support from Senior / Brand Managers
Brand responsibility for selected small brands in the selected portfolio. Develops regional brand growth strategy through cluster input, collaboration with global and thorough in depth and insightful analysis of market, financial and research data, with support from managers Develops understanding of local market needs and provides input to regional category leader and global marketing Works with Senior Brand Manager to facilitate alignment between cluster strategies and global strategy Supports implementation of brand strategy at the regional level, and works with cluster marketing to support local implementation Drives brand value through development of 360 degree marketing plans, to include guidance for pricing and merchandising strategy with support from managers Develops relationships with global marketing, other regions and clusters/local markets, market research, supply Works with global marketing to drive global brands and improve beauty image while addressing local market insights for a specific brand •Involves Senior Brand Manager on all aspects of the brand, to ensure alignment, and visibility to key issues
Ad hoc analysis to help unlock Growth Potential for Brands
Creating and running sales reports for Senior/Brand Managers •Requesting Reports from Market Research Team to help Senior/Brand Managers identify Market Trends or Growth opportunities •Analysing sales reports on a regular basis to identify gaps and sales trends Assisting in conducting regional competitor reviews Demonstrating awareness of strategy Assisting in conducting cluster practice reviews in terms of pricing, merchandising, creative brand executions Supporting brand manager in execution of 360 support plans in terms of some operational and coordination aspects Internet competitor reviews - Pricing - Track new launches
CANDIDATE
Further education qualification (ideally marketing qualification) Fluency in English, Sound maths skills, Strong administration and time management skills are critical. Experience in problem solving and the ability to prioritise The ability to undertake analysis and communicate data effectively Some marketing experience would be preferred in a category management environment; beauty preferred Relevant category experience preferred or at least demonstrable interest in the category Understanding of/ability to quickly learn systems Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, etc) Able to work quickly and effectively in a fast paced environment.
