Senior Customer Insight Analysis & Campaign Manager

Customer Insight Analysis & Campaign Manager Overview: Database Marketing / Campaign Manager Manager required at executive level for this major retail bank. Taking ownership of a substantial team (circa 20-30), you will specialise in liaising with internal marketing and analytical insight teams to create well targeted and segmented direct marketing campaigns. Your team will deliver all campaign processes, campaign selections, analysis and reporting for the credit cards arm of the business. This is a large area and exectues thousands of campaigns at both local and national level. You will be responsible for direct marketing campaigns being run through multiple channels e.g. email / direct mail / telephony etc and will focus on all aspects of customer acquisition and retention, loyalty, pricing etc. You will be responsible for ensuring that database marketing divisions for credit cards utilise all available customer insight data, marketing data, behavourial data etc to create detailed customer profiles, segmentations and selections for a successful direct marketing strategy. You will have direct strategic input for developing future credit card marketing strategies and will play a pivotal role within this business. The Person: In order to fulfil this role, you will be an analytically driven candidate with a solid background in data / campaign analysis and direct marketing. Specific skills and experience will include:

- Advanced knowledge of database marketing / direct marketing and campaign management using large customer driven datasets. You will have a detailed knowledge of customer segmentations, profiling, targeting, selections and analysis.

- There is a strong preference for candidates to have gained their experience in credit cards or financial servcies, however strong candidates from relevant industry sectors such as utilities and telecoms will be considered

- Expeirence of driving campaign / database marketing strategy at board level, encompassing campaign targeting, delivery, management, analysis, performance reporting

- Analytical background with statsitical analysis and campaign management systems, such as SQL, SAS, Excel, Unica Affinium, Access etc. You are likely to have moved into a hands off role, however you will still possess a working knowledge of analytical tools and relational databases

- Advanced communication and presentation skills for liaising with internal teams and presenting findings and strategic recommendations to the board

- Strong management experience

- Strong academic background in a relevant subject e.g. maths, statistics, economics, marketing
