Job: Account Manager, Blue Skies

PR Account Manager - Travel/Leisure - Central London - c £30,000

This brilliant specialist agency is looking for an Account Manager with solid travel PR experience to join their team and lead a major account in the travel and tourism industry. You'd be dedicated to this one account, working on the consumer PR for all the brands. With multiple sites across America and Europe, regular international travel will be part of your role, and you would be working with an exceptional team who are undoubtedly leaders in their field.

Key responsibilities include:

* Main point of client contact

* Strategic communications planning

* Relationship building with key journalists and strategic consumer opinion formers

* Managing more junior members of the team

* Running the busy press office

* Drafting all press materials - press releases, competition copy, case studies, advertorials and so forth

* Monitoring service levels and budgets

Key attributes my client is looking for include:

* Strong media relations skills

* A creative approach to news generation

* Good organisational skills

* A solid appreciation of consumer trends and an understanding of family

* Proven consumer PR experience to Account Manager level, including Travel PR
