The purpose of this role is to create and implement the external marketing plan on behalf of the UK market devising and executing both above & below the line retail and customer marketing. You will also be responsible for my clients loyalty programme and customer experience.
Primary accountabilities include:

Undertaking external marketing activity that drives increased traffic to stores, responsibility for developing and executing the UK market external marketing plan in line with international direction and the market calendar,modifying international assets as appropriate to ensure maximum cut-through at market level and managing all external marketing campaigns, advertising and third party partnerships. You will work with the international CRM team to gather customer insights and share these with the market teams providing recommendations as appropriate. In essence this is a multi-faceted role that will expose the right person to a number of different elememts of the marketing mix. You will also maintain the high ethical standards of my client including minimising the environmental, health and safety risks in the workplace and responsible for reporting potential risks, real accidents and near misses to relevant managers. This is a fixed term maternity cover contract.

CANDIDATE
Ideally you will already have marketing management experience in a similar complex multi-site retailer. Highly commercial you will have had tangible experience of converting strategies into real results. International exposure, knowledge of npd and product launch to new markets would be beneficial as is experience gained within the toiletries/ beauty sector is preferable.
