Job: PR Manager, Ad Lib

  • Employer: Ad Lib
  • Posted: 02 Nov 2009
  • Reference: BR1558
  • Contact: Carolyn Thompson
  • Location: Bristol or London
  • Sector: Media and New Media - Digital Media
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Part Time
  • Position: PR Manager
  • Salary: £ Competitive

This is a cracking opportunity (and we really meant it!) for an experienced PR professional with gravitas, creativity and drive to become part of an award winning digital marketing agency to manage their PR and position them as a force to be reckoned with.

This agency has earned a good reputation to date simply because they produce great work. Now what they're after is a dedicated PR person who will not only raise the profile of the projects, but will devise and deliver a long term strategic plan to build the profile of the agency to dizzying heights!

Once you've got to the heart of their brand, their values and the sectors they work in you'll be able to develop a consistent brand story to differentiate them from the competition. As well as generating regular coverage in mainstream and trade media, you'll strategically deliver a calendar of PR activity. By identifying networking and business opportunities, getting key agency people speaking at events, and securing league table rankings and award nominations, you'll ensure they're seen and heard in all the right places, by all the right people....not much then!

To be considered you'll need significant client side PR experience, building reputation and profile through a wide range of channels. If you have managed PR for a creative agency, this would clearly be perfect, but it isn't essential. You'll need a good understanding of digital marketing to be able to write and talk intellegently about their work, be full of ideas and have the authority to deliver them. In short you'll be the PR guardian of the agency. They're an honest, creative and ethical bunch and they'd love you be too!

This role is available 3 days per week and you don't have to be in Bristol either, someone London based could also work well.

In return you can expect a competitive salary depending on experience.

They're looking to move quickly so please don't hesitate to get in touch with your CV and a covering letter outlining your location and salary requirements.
