My client is an integrated communications agency in Surrey looking to make a senior appointment to strengthen their digital offer as part of their wider integrated approach.

Person Specification:

Minimum 8-10 years digital experience

Extensive technical knowledge (although not necessarily hands on)

Good interpersonal skills

Client facing

Good knowledge of SEO/social media

Good industry knowledge

Leading profile within the industry

Good portfolio of project involvement

Proven client management experience

Proven budget control

Job description:

My client currently has a relatively limited digital offer primarily focussed on creative/project management. They have delivered a number of projects on both large and small scale via outsourced/freelance contacts. They are now looking to bring that in house and build a digital team around this key position. Effectively the person will be building a team/department from the ground up and as a result will be involved in all elements of the client/project development process from pitching and client acquisition to strategic direction of client accounts and delivering projects. As the team/offer grows they will be involved in recruiting a team around them focussed on project delivery.

Having recently developed their PR offer they see this position as sitting closely with our PR team and providing insight into how digital/social media can amplifythe PR activity via integrated campaigns. A strong/proven knowledge of successfully using social media EPR and SEO to broaden a campaign reach is essential.
