Job: Lead Information Architect - £60k, ECOM Recruitment

One of the World’s finest Digital Agencies are on the lookout for a new lead Information Architect to join their growing team. Already within the UK’s top 5 agencies, this fantastic company are aiming to expand further after yet another hugely successful year! As this role will require you to lead IA on their financial services team, you MUST have experience of both managing teams and working for a number of clients in the banking and financial services industry.

The Role
As Lead Information Architect for your department you will have the opportunity to build and manage an IA team that will be responsible for creating best-in-class offerings for navigation, organisation and interaction design for web and software solutions. You should possess deep financial sector knowledge as well as be an expert in creating world-class user experiences for a variety of clients.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of financial services mechanisms
• Past experience of managing teams
• Ability and interest in creating rich apps (using .NET, Java, Flash, Flex etc)
• A passion for UI
• Past experience in a digital consulting firm or agency
• Bachelor’s degree in design-related discipline such as HCI
• Expertise in UCD methods and techniques
• Great working knowledge of relevant software including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Visio, Office etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary - £60k upwards
