Job: Mail Order Marketing Manager - Retail/Fashion, Blue Skies

You will be currently a Senior Marketing Exectutive/ Marketing Manager within a retail company looking for that next step up and who would like more scope. This company will mould its requirements around the right retail candidate!

The key responsibilities will include:

Marketing:

* To develop the mail order and online marketing plan

* To produce the marketing plan for mail order and sales promotions and co-ordinate the departmental marketing plan and prepare budgets for sign off

* To co-ordinate sales promotions across multi-channels

* To implement print promotions

* To produce and manage the expenditure budget for mail order print and sales promotions materials

* To initiate and maintain relationships with partners and develop partnership work

Customer database Management and Distribution:

* To develop the catalogue distribution plan with support of the CEO

* To analyse the customer database to gain an understanding of customer behaviour and to commission customer profiling when necessary

* To analyse of the effectiveness of marketing activity and to commission external suppliers for database management where necessary

Catalogue and print production:

* To work with the CEO to produce the catalogue, with the help of the Catalogue Production Cooordinator

* To manage the costing and quality control of the reprographics/printing of the catalogue

* To oversee the collation of all the information for the catalogue and set and keep the schedules for its production

* To oversee the preparation of the initial layout of the catalogue and co-ordinate its communication to the graphic designer

* To proof read and edit the cataalogue text

* To be responsible for the organisation of the logistics of the photoshoot, including travel arrangements, managing the budget and liability issues

Essential Skills & Requirements (please do not apply if you cannot demonstrate the following):

* Experience in the management of printing catalogues

* Substantial marketing experience, preferably in multichannel fashion retail (including direct and online marketing)

* Good copywriting skills

* Good experience of evaluating campaigns

* Management experience and good leadership skills

Desired personal qualities:

* Ability to take initiative and pro-active nature

* Interest in fashion

You will ideally have Mailorder/ Catalogue production experience and strong print experience for this role.
