Revolver Entertainment is looking for an innovative and highly organised Head of Marketing to oversee theatrical and home entertainment marketing within one of the industry’s leading independent film distributors.

Based in central London, Revolver Entertainment has a flare for creative marketing and has won 10 industry awards in the last 5 years.

The successful candidate will be extremely creative, experienced in managing a large team with a heavy work flow and will naturally be extremely well organised – capable of constantly improving and developing management systems in the face of a changing environment. They will also be in tune with the developing new media landscape and able to bring pioneering new methods to the table.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, they will oversee a growing marketing team of 10-11 people and will work closely with the in-house PR and sales teams.

The successful candidate will also have a great deal of energy and passion for the job and will enjoy an enormous amount of creative freedom in the role. They will also thrive in a fast paced, often high pressure and exciting environment where no single day is the same.

The role includes the following key responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the creation and management of innovative above and below-the-line trade and consumer marketing campaigns across all theatrical and home entertainment releases
  • Management of growing £3 million+ annual marketing budget
  • Detailed assistance with the acquisitions process (including P&Ls)
  • Key involvement with the company’s film production schedule
  • Spearheading pioneering and innovative company-wide marketing strategies
  • Overseeing budget creation and management for all releases
  • Title management planning/allocation
  • Development and implementation of new marketing planning systems
  • Ensuring existing marketing planning systems are adhered to
  • Creation and dissemination of team responsibilities and goals
  • Development of team skills and training
  • Team assessment and appraisals
  • Liaison with Head of Publicity to ensure synergy between the departments
  • Liaison with home entertainment head of sales, FD and MD on monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
