My client is great FMCG branding and packaging design agency with offices in the UK / Europe and Asia. My Client is currently looking to recruit a New Business Development Director for their busy Holland Studio. My Clients core focus is across FMCG Packaging and identity for some of the most famous brands in the World. My client has around 150 Staff worldwide.
You will be responsible for generating new business for my client across their Packaging and Branding offerings, from new clients, existing clients, group clients and prospective clients. It would be great if you already have an enviable portfolio to bring - even better if it consists of Global FMCG clients! You will create, manage and convert pitch/proposal opportunities and develop and maintain a new business plan for the European Studio. The New Business Director will work directly with the Head of Client Services and Packaging Strategy Director both in Holland and in the UK developing their offerings across Germany / France / Holland / Scandinavia.
You will be instrumental in the development of business from previous and dormant clients as well as focusing on hot new, exciting and inspiring clients you can bring to the table. It is imperative that the New Business Development Director will have a proven track record in winning and achieving new business with budgets up to 500k. The New Business Development Director must have a high attention to detail and proactive approach to new business.
You must also be a quick thinker with aptitude for identifying opportunities with new clients. The ideal candidate will possess gravitas and display personality as you will act as a role model to the younger team members. The New Business Development Director will be highly self motivated, working on their own initiative/standing alone. You will be committed / enthusiastic / collaborative team player. You will be ambitious / self confident with a friendly approachable disposition.
Speaking Dutch is a real bonus but not essential as most of the transactions / conversations will be conducted in English. The New Business Development Director will be able to present and pitch ideas at the interview and must be able to demonstrate the above points! The New Business Director will be either from Holland / Italy / Germany / Spain / France and could have the possibility of working in their HOME country….
