A leading marketing services agency, specialising in online marketing campaigns, is seeking an experienced account manager who has knowledge of both sales promotions and online marketing, to build successful relationships with clients at all levels. Over the last six years this company has provided thousands of promotions with clients typically from the FMCG arena, retailers and digital marketing and sales promotion agencies.
2009 has been a tremendous year for growth and this looks set to continue.
The remit of the role will be to;
1. Drive entire sales cycle; from securing meetings with decision makers (various levels), carrying-out needs analysis, clarifying requirements, presenting program, addressing objections, order completion, reviewing and appraising results, renewal, with both established and prospective clients.
2. Provide a consultative aproach to clients needs and understanding their marketing/campaign plans and objectives, identifing their challenges and requirements.
3. Secure new clients and increase level of business
4. Build a network of business relationships with clients and their agency partners, which will yield sales opportunities.
5. Strong account management skills - strong desire to provide your clients with a professional, credible and responsive service on a day-to-day basis.
6. Quickly develop thorough knowledge of company products/services.
The ideal candidate will;
*Have account management experience in sales promotions, online marketing/services ideally with a focus on FMCG clients
*Be passionate about selling and creating value for clients - understanding of consumer marketing, promotions, campaign planning, media buying and client ROI.
*Be comfortable working in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment - outside of the corporate comfort zone.
*Have solid PC skills including Power Point and Excel. Ability to use these skills to support communications, organisation and productivity(i.e. compiling proposals and forecasts etc, writing sales documents)
*Be educated to degree level, strong background of academic and extra-curricular achievement.
