Social Media Manager - Manchester

Our client is an online retailer of car rental services with websites available to a customer base spanning 30 countries worldwide. Launched in 2005, they have grown to be one of the largest car rental OTA's in the world, providing car rental services to over ½ million customers every year.

They deal with all the major car hire companies around the world -checking which local supplier is offering the best price and service to match our customer needs.

They offer vehicles from over 6,000 locations worldwide ensuring that they are able to meet all customers leisure and business demands from locations as diverse as Peru, Egypt, Jordan and Thailand.

They are now seeking to recruit a Social Media Manager which is an outstanding opportunity for a focussed individual to develop and manage the companies' online presence across all the major and emerging social major platforms.

This role will be ideal for customer service focused individual, who enjoys working in a small team, and is intrigued by the opportunity to work in the extremely fast moving environment of social media within the online travel industry.

The accountability is to improve the visibility of the company across Social Media platforms and the increase the feedback from satisfied customers whilst working with the customer services team to minimize the impact of negative feedback.

Key aspects of the role will be to:

* Develop the voice of the company on Social Media platform

* Monitor negative feedback and take timely, effective action to resolve

* Raise the visibility of brand across all the major and emerging social media platforms

* Monitor and develop KPI's to report on social media positive and negative visibility

* Develop a customer memorialisation mechanism
