My client is the leader in their market and are currently launching into a number of new categories through significant NPD.

At present they are looking at recruiting for their expanding category function and are looking for a Category Manager who has previous category management experience in an FMCG environment ideally across a number of accounts.

Experience of launching new products to market would also be beneficial for this category manager. You will have excellent man management skills as you will be responsible for a number of category analysts. Good commercial acumen and understanding is a must.

To be successful in this role up will be used to developing strategies for category growth and working closely with product managers and other internal contacts. The ability to build relationships with customers is a real must.
