Job: Own Brand Manager (buying, NPD) - Beauty, Quest Search and Selection

A leading high street retailer based in South London is seeking a commercial own brand manager (buying & new product development) for their Beauty category.

Main responsibilities will be:

- Based on customer brand requirements and through an understanding of the commercial teams' business priorities, source and develop new brand concepts and develop existing brands.

- Develop appropriate products and packaging, via benchmarking, customer trials and customer feedback.

- Be responsible for sourcing and negotiating with suppliers for the own label product range.

- Monitor performance and refresh & update plans and activity as required.

- Constantly review product performance and evaluate initiatives to maximise spend and learning's.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in retail buying & own brand development. Beauty product experience is highly desirable but not essential. A good, strong commercial acumen is required as well as the ability to manage cross functional projects, end to end.
