Job: Senior Account Executive B2B, Blue Skies

Are you a confident coverage generator with great copywriting skills, a sound knowledge of the news and business agenda and an ability to proactively identify stories and turn them into results? Our award winning B2B Public Relations client is in need for a professional senior account executive to join their successful team.

The ideal applicant will have a wealth of B2B experience, gained within a fast paced agency environment. You must be able to show a first class track record. In return, our client is offering the right senior account executive a challenging and exciting position with massive development opportunities.

The role:

Drafting of press releases, media alerts and features for client approvals

Pro-active and reactive media relations

Day-to-day client liaison re PR activity, planning and results

Client reports

Contribution to new business pitches and presentation

Management of junior staff (in some cases)

Owning and managing key areas of responsibility e.g. projects

Skills required:

Excellent media skills

Excellent writing skills

Ability to grasp and remain up to date with general business industry specific issues

Creative approach

Highly organised, intelligent individual

Ability to manage key areas of responsibility e.g. projects

Media contacts in national and business press

Experience:

Senior account executive level or an account executive that has been in their position for many months and ready for the next step up

Demonstrable experience of securing high profile coverage

Experience of copywriting for a range of business audiences

Experience of working with B2B, property and/or technology clients (preferred)

Experience of managing more junior staff (preferred)

Experience of owning and managing key areas of responsibility e.g. projects (preferred)
