This is a brand new role reporting to the Group Marketing Director, working alongside the senior management team and Heads of Marketing. You will be responsible for creating, shaping and executing consumer-focused PR strategies; your job is to position the brand as being an innovative leader in healthcare and drive footfall into the business. Specifically, you will build productive relationships at a senior level internally and externally and with the media. You will develop ideas for features, interviews, presentations and other activities that promote awareness of programmes, services, successes, research and thought leadership whilst playing a major part in shaping the voice of the brand. An important aspect to the role is managing the PR agency, ensuring they deliver effective campaigns, on time and within budget. You’ll also brief employees for media contact and keep all web content accurate and up-to-date.

Our Ideal Candidate

Client side, commercial experience is essential to succeed in this role. You will be experienced in co-ordinating media relations and generating positive press coverage. You have a creative mind and a solid understanding of how to design and implement strategies. Good, strong commercial acumen is important as is the ability to manage cross-functional projects from start to finish. Excellent writing, editing and proof reading skills are a must.
