Sky’s Digital Media Sales team focus on generating increased incremental revenues from all advertising on Sky’s digital media platforms. A fantastic sales executive opportunity has come up within our agency sales division. Reporting into the Group Account Controller & with the aid of an assistant, you will be responsible for representing & selling advertising opportunities on Sky’s three content brand pillars of Sport, News & Entertainment across all digital platforms including Online, Mobile & Video on Demand.

What we are looking for:

A team player that enjoys developing and presenting an advertising based, revenue-generating idea/opportunity in answer to a marketing challenge or brief. Must be able to perform in a fast-paced highly changing marketplace and be driven to meet and exceed revenue targets. A communicator, listener, presenter and negotiator you will have a proven track record within Media Advertising Sales of managing agency accounts, ideally across cross platform, digital mediums. You will demonstrate ease at dealing with Account Directors and Strategy Directors working both online and offline.

Familiarity and knowledge of the UK/London communications industry is essential. Knowledge of their clients a bonus. An understanding of the media sales process including traditional media and/or online is required. Familiarity with the internet and intermediate computer knowledge of software programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word. You will be numerate & highly effective at verbal and written communication, including the delivery of presentations is essential for success in this role.

What you will do:

  • Account manage portfolio of clients across Sky’s digital platforms
  • Optimise sales revenue by influencing client advertising spends across our digital portfolio
  • Develop, manage & inspire your assistant, leading by example both internally & externally
  • Liase with internal departments such as Ad operations, Sponsorship & Client development to best serve our clients
  • Take full responsibility for providing excellent customer service & growing revenue within your agency patch
  • Respond with creative & insightful ideas of how Sky’s products & services may be relevant to client’s agency briefs
  • Build strong relationships with agency representatives at all levels & be an ambassador for - Sky’s products & services
  • Generate accurate & timely reports on sales activity as required

Based in Victoria, South West London.

Salary and terms: Basic + 40% Sales Bonus
