Aspirational footwear brand that provides premium footwear at affordable prices seeks a Head of Marketing with excellent fashion retail experience. You must be an experienced and established senior fashion Marketeer with a solid fashion marketing and retail background. Working into the CEO, you will be managing a PR Executive and E-Commerce Manager and will be responsible for creating and executing the brands marketing strategy and contributing to the overall business strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Raise the profile of the brand.
• Increase brand awareness across brands within the group
• Contribute effectively towards the company sales growth objective.
• Develop the brands’ websites.
• Increase store traffic.
• Prepare annual marketing budgets and undertake regular forecasting reviews.
• Work closely with the Senior Team across Design, Buying, Visual Merchandising, Operations, and International to ensure brand consistency.
• Management of marketing, PR and e-commerce teams on a day to day basis.
• Write and manage a Brand Strategy document to lead the business to its growth objectives for the next 5 years incorporating the development and progress of the e-commerce business as well.
• Understand the creative strength of the brands and translate this into a desirable, competitive position.
• Explore media options to raise the brands’ profile.
• Broaden the consumer base of the brands through all distribution channels.
• Create strong brand loyalty with a core of the brand shoppers such that it is their ‘destination shop’ for shoes and accessories.
• Establish a strategy to create a brand advocate network that can be used to strengthen brand image.
• Produce creative Brand Guidelines that stores and agencies can use to ensure consistency of branding execution.
• Give marketing input and support to Retail Operations in the growth of the business through different distribution channels.
• Work with the Creative team to establish secondary branding for Men’s and Accessories.
• Write brand manuals for the brands within the group.
• Manage all external creative and media agencies
You:
• A proven track record in Marketing, with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
• Strong relationships with key creative and media agencies within the fashion retail market.
• Previous experience of developing an e commerce business.
• A thorough understanding of how to increase sales, control costs and ensure a sustainable and profitable business exists.
• Experience of managing direct reports and developing their skills.
Qualifications:
Educated to degree level or equivalent
