Our client, an industry leading brand name, are looking to recruit a marketing analyst to provide evaluation and management information reports to the marketing team and wider business, that will make a difference to the company's performance from the trends and patterns identified and action orientated recommendations for change presented.
This role is best suited to a proactive, inquisitive, thorough individual with high standards and good attention to detail.
* To ensure the business achieves maximum return on investment of its marketing budget by thoroughly evaluating all marketing activity performance to high quality and accuracy within the deadlines provided, presenting recommendations on how performance can be improved.
* To constantly monitor results performance against each other (as opposed to by individual activity), to identify opportunities to explore further growth potential and share best practice of what is working across the team, as well as poor performance which can be immediately addressed.
* To ensure all regular (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, annually) automated & non automated management information reporting is available and accurate.
* To take ownership for the quality and improvement of our clients customer database cleaning, de-duping and finding processes to reduce errors and improve accuracy.
* To take ownership for the accurate and timely implementation of all marketing activity price lists with the I.T. department that enables customers to purchase products at the right price (on & off line) and marketing activity performance to be evaluated.
* To keep abreast of customer performance by each of the different segments and industries within the database model and using this information to present opportunities
* Keep abreast of all marketing activity (on and off line) and changes to the plan as a result of responding to performance
* Pass any information regarding competitor activity and customer feedback to the marketing team and / or other departments
Essential
Minimum of 2 years previous experience working in a similar, analytical role
Proven experience in working within a fast moving, results orientated, target driven business
Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills, together with outstanding I.T. proficiency including advanced experience of Excel and Access.
Can easily explain the main points of detailed and complex data, evaluation and recommendations, influencing and challenging others with evidence of information and analysis generated
Desirable
Keen interest in marketing
Knowledge of Cognos reporting tool.
Hungry and ambitious this individual should be keen to be developed as the succession plan for the Senior Marketing Analyst's replacement.
