Our client, a major retail brand are looking for a Head of Brand to ensure the successful implementation of on and off line marketing activity by managing marketing budgets, planning , briefing and approving activity and conducting post analysis in line with the Marketing plan. As well as all on line traffic generation, paid search, affiliates and partnerships

Key Responsibilities:

 Implement and coordinate activity and campaigns as defined in the marketing plan, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget and in line with Brand direction

 Manage campaign budgets

 Manage key stakeholders / agencies to ensure campaigns are implemented correctly, on time and on brand

 Review and interpret campaign results and recommend improvements to future campaigns /activity

 Identify new opportunities / campaigns to maximise brand performance

 Manage and resolve enquiries generated by customer management, product marketing & promotional offers.

 Line management of marketing assistants and team engagement

 Support other brand team members to ensure the overall brand strategy is executed

 Deputise for Head of marketing when required

Essential Knowledge, Skills, Proven Ability or Role Specific Qualifications required:

* Brand expert with 5+ years experience

* A proven completer finisher who can develop strategic thinking and rapid response action planning and delivery

* 10+ years total marketing experience

* 3+ years management experience

* A track record of delivering against agreed KPI's (including budget and sales accountability)

* The ability to present compelling and well reasoned arguments to the board and to Board members of advertising and media agencies.

* First rate knowledge of industry trends and innovation within Retail, Marketing and brand sectors.

* Demonstrably considers customer in every activity

* Able to achieve excellence, prioritise according to optimum business benefit, within challenging timeframes

* Energetic, enthusiastic and tenacious and able to respond in a fast moving environment.

* Strong verbal, analytical and written communication / presentation skills.
