A leading high street retailer is building its e-commerce capabilities and consequently is seeking a web designer to play a key role in the ongoing success of the site. Primarily, the role is to ensure the website is commercially focussed, translating the brand values and personality of the stores and provide the creative direction and design of all online material. Specifically the role will entail weekly redesign of the homepage and managing regular e-mail campaigns, developing design concepts and ideas for the site’s development, drive innovation and propose new techniques to keep the site fresh and relevant for its target audience.

You will have proven web design skills, with experience of Photoshop, Illustrator, In design, Fireworks, Flash, Dreamweaver and an understanding of HTML, CSS, and J-Query preferably from a retail background or at least with a passion for fashion or retail. In addition you will have excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels, proven commercial awareness and creative flair. Central London.
