Blue Skies client is looking for senior account executive's to join their fabulous B2B tech team. Our client has an excellent client portfolio including blue-chip technology companies in data storage, hosting, data centre power management and media research. Their clients have all been won through competitive pitches where they have beaten established agencies through the quality of their offering: they are also focusing on new business activities within leading IT brands.

Minimum core skills/ qualities needed:

Senior account level of experience

Passionate about B2B technology PR

Experience of B2B media clients is a benefit

Thorough knowledge of the UK media from a B2B tech perspective (Online/Trade/National)

Understanding of deadlines and PR's interaction with the media

Accuracy and attention to detail

Office literacy - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook proficiency

Client facing experience

Ability to write trade press releases and by-lined articles - taking a brief drafting and proofing

Creative and strategic thinking: be able to perform in brainstorms and regularly contributing to strategic thinking by spotting opportunities and making suggestions

Ability to accurately produce reports, research and prepare features activities and deliver basic PR administration (media list preparation, call round documents, briefing documents etc) to a high standard and within required timelines

Personal qualities:

Enthusiastic about PR and the world of business

Organised, proactive, dependable and with the initiative to do their own homework as standard

Self-motivated

Presenting solutions not problems and showing initiative

Flexible

Our client is offering a very competitive package which includes:

Salary up to £27000

Working hours from 09:00am - 18:00pm, with flexibility according to business requirements

23 holidays per annum

Birthday off - additional day off

Summer days - leave office one day a week at 16:00pm
