Business Director

London£60000 - £75000 per annum

My client, an award winning London agency are looking for a Business Director to join them working on the agency's largest account.
As the retained and strategic partner for Digital and Social Media for this large automotive account this is a fantastic opportunity to join a really exciting team.
As Business Director you will play a pivotal role in managing relationships with all of the key clients and other agency partners. You will be a key member of the client service team, helping shape the account team and overall department at one of the most exciting times for the agency.
The ideal candidate will have a focus completely on digital and will be seeped in digital experience.
Objective of the role:
*Ensure profitability targets are met and be accountable financially for the business
*Be a proven new business pitcher and play a part in leading agency pitches
*Manage and develop account team resources and skills
*Develop and evolve strategic thinking alongside Planning Director
*Work closely with Project and Technical Directors to ensure smooth implementation of campaigns

Key Skills
*Ability to fully understand the client's business and marketplace to identify opportunities and steer the relationship appropriately
*Good strategic and creative understanding
*Numeracy and ability to interpret figures
*Comfortable at sealing relationships with senior client contacts
*Knowledge of agency offerings and campaign/project development
*Comprehensive knowledge of marketing landscape especially digital media
*Highly developed interpersonal, team building and relationship management skills
*Effective (written) communication, presentation and negotiation skills
*Automotive experience very desirable but not mandatory but a good understanding of the industry and how it functions is a must
*A strong, confident individual who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty
*Strong experience within Social Media strategies and campaigns
*Broad understanding of the digital landscape and subsequent translation to meet client needs
*Passion to drive a new business entity forward, working closely with the DNA Lead
