Senior Advertising Sales Executive
To sell on-line advertising space and the products and services to mixture of digital and full service traditional advertising agencies with digital divisions, media agencies and branded clients.
To prepare and implement business and activity plans in order to achieve purpose and agreed activity and income generation objectives
To identify, approach and win new brand-clients, media agencies and their clients/business, including making presentations and/or written proposals, including costings, as appropriate to meet agreed income generation objectives
To provide effective account management, including organising, attending and leading regular account meetings as required, and build strong relationships with all clients to ensure on-going business development and sales opportunities, in particular the sale of products and services
To ensure the clients products and services are sold to meet client requirements in order to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
To develop existing business relationships and networking with key agencies and or brand owners, to make sales of the products and services as appropriate
To negotiate with advertising agencies/clients at advanced level to achieve profitable sales of the clients products and services
Ability to manage and co-ordinate ad campaigns across websites to maximise results for clients
To prepare and submit relevant, appropriate and timely reports as required, including prospect lists, sales forecasts, customer data, market research etc.
To liaise with colleagues internally, and external suppliers as appropriate, to ensure effective delivery of the clients products and services, and the effective administration of client’s accounts, including maintaining accurate contact reports and client correspondence
Understanding, and ability, to create and sell multi-channel initiatives to clients/advertising agencies
Monitoring and updating all client records. Following up with clients/advertising agencies.
General administration and organisation of tasks and actions required daily/weekly.
Ensuring consistent communication to all clients/ad agencies, updating clients/advertising agencies on benefits
To attend internal/external meetings as required and contribute positively
On-line advertising experience/skills
Relationships with key advertising agencies
Strong sales and negotiation skills
Organisation skills ability
Enthusiastic approach to work
Confident and articulate presenter
Ability to work to deadlines
Ability to work alone without supervision or as part of a team
Good organisational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Competent working with numbers and statistical data. Strong Excel skills and proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint.
Neg basic + Commission – 15% of revenue delivered
37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm – 1 hour for lunch)
22 days holiday per annum
