A world's leading professional information trade publication is seeking for an Account Manager for their North Asia business including Japan. This ideal candidate would need to be a self-starter, and strong in negotiation skills.
Based out of Hong Kong, this role will be reporting to the Head of Sales.
Responsibilities
- Managing sales across print, online, events, complimentary goods and services across company’s products
- To meet and develop new prospects & maintain excellent relationships with existing clients
- Develop business plans for targeted senior level clients and closely follow up with the execution of the sales plans with them
- Ambitious, driven and able to work autonomously in a goal-orientated environment
- Must be able to plan, develop and execute sales plans according to company strategy
- Able to manage multiple key accounts, always look for business opportunities
- Sales pitch at senior management level, good at product knowledge and business strategy
- Provide good post-project customer service for all renewal business
- Apply negotiation skills so that both the company and client is getting win-win results and create basis for long-term relationships
Requirements
- University graduate or above
- At least 3 years of sales experience in advertising and event sponsorship
- A self-starter, dynamic and aggressive
- Fluency in spoken English
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Good connections within the professional community being advantageous
