Account Director [Direct Marketing] – Superb Agency – Central London to £48k
Easily one of London’s best agencies requires an Account Director to work on a ground-breaking retail account. This 100+ person agency continues to go from strength to strength.
The agency is one of the few, true direct marketing agencies capable of creating impactful and fully integrated campaigns across both online and offline channels. These include direct mail, print media, DRTV, email, microsites, full websites and online advertising.
This Account Director role will support other accounts which are tbc but the core account is B2B where Digital and CRM projects play quite heavily.
The type of Account Director the Agency are looking for
An experienced Account Director to head up (with the support of a Group Account Director) this retailer’s B2B side of the business.
This is a new addition to the main retail account which the Agency has held for two years.
This retailers business-to-business side is a new initiative that involves setting up an entire programme from Acquisition through to Retention.
The agency are the strategic lead and so it’s a strong opportunity for the Account Director to develop a programme from scratch… and to deliver fabulous creative work for one the world’s quirkiest brands!
Requirements for the Account Director Role:
- You will have been an Account Director for at least a year
- You have solid B2B experience
- Solid DM/Digital experience is key as this is the main focus of the account
- Previous planning/strategy skills
- Great commercial acumen
- Ensuring that you understand the clients business will be a key focus for this Account Director role
- Previous experience working with a data and planning department is required
- Strong delivery skills – you will need to be able to deliver digital and digital solutions across a range of projects
- Be able to work with clients across all levels and demonstrate gravitas
- Be able to manage junior members of the team positively and be great at motivating the team
- Must have great attention to detail

You are a confident, approachable, friendly Account Director who enjoys an informal yet professional and rigorous working environment.
You will also be assertive and confident in your dealing with Clients whilst demonstrating understanding of their business needs and objectives.
