Head of Planning, GREATER CHINA - World Famous Advertising Agency - Shanghai or Hong Kong
A unique opportunity has arisen at one of the world's most creative and famous advertising agencies for a Planning Lead across P&G brands in Greater China.
My client has invested in Planning in Greater China and see it as an equal and integral contributor to Creative and Account skills in driving the future development of the agency.
This role was newly created 12 months ago as a 50% role and has now been upgraded to 100% to work alongside newly appointed Creative and Account Leads.
Together this team will lead the development of the P&G Business in Greater China overseeing the regional brand teams it will be the main point of contact for Global leadership on the brands.
Help realise the potential in creating business driving ideas which work across media in a fast developing and changing world.
Lead the team of Planners, including 7 Planning Directors in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
Desired Skills & Experience
A proven track record (15 years +) in Planning including International and fmcg experience, actively involved in Planning Community – APG, Effies, IPA –
Can demonstrate a clear capability in developing strategies which lead to a powerful and effective creative ideas
Fully immersed in the digital world and the way consumers are engaging with media
Experience of the Asia/Greater China region
Needs strong leadership qualities and entrepreneurial spirit – this role requires drive and tenacity combined with patience and vision.
You will be based in HK or Shanghai with regular travel in China
