Head of Planning - PR and Communications Agency - Central London £70k - £80k
Our client, a top London PR agency, is looking to recruit a Head of Planning for one of their biggest and most profitable client accounts to drive a step-change in the team’s approach to developing breakthrough media neutral communications ideas. Working into the Consumer Packaged Goods MD, shoulder to shoulder with the respective Consumer Packaged Goods category leaders, as well as collaborating closely with agency “loop team” partners, the successful candidate will drive the implementation of key consumer insights into the formulation of big ideas and communications strategy, across all disciplines. They will be responsible for the integration of PR with creative, media, digital and in store disciplines toward a singular strategic communications approach for their client. You must already be a successful senior communications planner with senior client relationship management experience. You will have a proven track record in launching and sustaining best practices and processes in communications planning, have a good sense for general media principles and be able to apply them to clients’ business. You should have a passion for, and comprehensive understanding, of digital behaviour and new media consumer behaviour to further strengthen creative ideas. You are an effective communicator and possess the ability to both work with and lead a group in a team environment, You will have a track record of successful and productive relationship management with agency partners, an open-minded, strategic and creative approach to client and inter-agency projects and challenges, genuine enthusiasm for the industry and a real desire to break new ground.
