As a Product Manager within our Driveline business you will be responsible for managing a business portfolio of products, ensuring profitability through the development of enduring customer relationships. You will have a good understanding of commercial and marketing skills including product positioning, strategic and value pricing. Experience in product line management or a closely related discipline is essential, knowledge of OEMs, our customers, competitors and the global markets would be advantageous.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Analyses the business needs and identifies effective solutions
- Analyses market trends and predicts business impact
- Participates in the development and maintenance of the business plan
- Converts market changes into opportunities for growth
- Develops, maintains, implements and communicates on innovative and realistic product line plans, seeking to provide a differentiated offering and creating marketable value
- Establishes integrated Marketing plans to support the business strategy and drive implementation of the product and customer relationship activities
- Builds relationships with other internal divisions and external groups, especially customers
- Develops, maintains and presents up-to-date product and trends presentations to internal stakeholders, customers and OEM’s to support demonstration of industry leadership
- Applies market knowledge to help customers grow their business and identifies ways they can differentiate themselves
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in product line management or closely related discipline
- Knowledge of OEM’s, customers, competitors, and the global market
- Understands and implements commercial and marketing skills including product positioning, strategic and value pricing,
- Ability to establish strong relationships and work within a matrix organisation
