Communications Officer - Waste Management Company
Our client is one of the UK’s leading recycling, renewable energy and waste management companies.
They work with more than 90 local authorities and thousands of private customers across the country. Their aim is to protect human health and the environment by safely, responsibly and efficiently managing waste and maximising recycling and resource generation opportunities.
Location: Bolton / Oldham
Salary: £25,750 per annum
6 Months Contract (Maternity Cover)
The Key Responsibilities of this post are:
Implement and drive the public relations and communications activity of the contract service, supporting service promotion, community engagement and waste education programmes.
- To prepare and provide support to a range of communications, public relation and marketing programmes and activities designed to promote and enhance the contract services.
- To liaise with the authorities, the press, other stakeholder and community groups to ensure consistency of messages conveyed to key target audiences using the most effective methods and media.
