An established £1bn business are setting up a new Business Unit at purpose built offices near Cambridge, having recently acquired an established and much loved portfolio of British brands. With investment available and a clear growth strategy for existing brands as well as NPD, this is a unique opportunity to play a key role within a "start up" with investment! As the leading marketer in a lean business unit and reporting into the Commercial Director, you will be charged with developing clear growth strategies for the newly acquired portfolio, working closely with sales and category stake holders to ensure that customer insight and commercial rigour is applied at all stages. This will include responsibility for ensuring your brands win when it comes to instore activation, so you'll need to be tactically astute as well as strategic.
To be successful in this unique Marketing Controller role, you must come armed with a proven track record of delivering brand growth in a grocery (ideally food but non food may be considered) UK business. Equally, you will be passionate about achieving great results and take responsibility and ownership in all you do as well as have an entrepreneurial approach in how you plan and apply your thinking.
