User Experience Designer

The client is a niche conversion rate optimisation agency based in London who are experts in turning visitors into customers. They are a passionate agency who have made their clients millions through their digital platforms and campaigns. They are looking for a great UX Designer with some Front End development skills to help with these platforms and campaigns.

You're a bright, experienced and naturally curious UX Developer/Designer looking to join an amazing and rapidly expanding team. What the client needs:

A UX Developer/Designer to support a worldwide conversion programme - leveraging A/B & Multivariate techniques and toolkits. Someone who is keen to deliver substantial gains to our client's UX and marketing activities on a truly global scale.

Minimum 3+ years design and development experience required. Bachelor's degree or higher in a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.

What will you be doing?

As a UX Developer/Designer you'll work in a team environment in the design and execution of digital [web, mobile] client conversion solutions. You will ensure development is both well written and engaging for the active users.

To do this you should have experience with:
• Javascript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, Photoshop, Flash
• Standards-compliant code
• Development/Testing across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, including smartphones and tablets.
• QA processes
• Developing for search engine optimisation
• Analytics solutions, such as Google Analytics
• Optimisation solution, such as Google Content Experiments.
• Agile methodology and best practices.



And demonstrable ability to:

• Forensically analyse digital platforms for user workflow issues and propose good technical solutions.
• Work with internal stakeholders to define user workflows and experience, as well as website content structure.
• Demonstrate a good eye for typography, colours, visual hierarchy, and whether things "look right".
• Understand when mobile web apps are appropriate as opposed to native applications.
• Collaborate with client sales, marketing, design and development teams to deliver multiple projects and tasks in a deadline-driven, team environment.
• Work with internal stakeholders to define user workflows and experience, as well as website content structure.
• Participate in discussions with clients and team members about technical best practices and help teams identify optimal technical solutions.
