Retail Marketing Manager
Our client is a specialist clothing/household goods retailer with predominantly a northern based store network. 2013 is going to be a year of investment and they are looking to take the number of outlets to over 50 and the business is looking to increase their headcount significantly with some key new appointments. One of these new roles will be a Retail Marketing Manager that will be required to strategically lead the marketing of their store network and new store opening programme. This role will require a candidate with the necessary retail marketing experience but also the appreciation of brand and customer insight. You will lead on tactical promotions and customer engagement strategies and will be commercial aware, being able to react to trading conditions and able to make the necessary strategic changes to maximise revenue and margin. Candidate will also need to ideally understand a data driven approach to marketing, as the business also has a mail-order operation that is driven through its catalogue and e-commerce site.
