The Role

The Social Media Manager will work closely with the larger marketing team, to ensure continuity in our overall delivery.

You must be able to respond to consumer insight through analytical data and research. You should be able to demonstrate an understanding in social media trends and consumer needs.

Some of the day to day tasks include:

  • Working with the Marketing Director to create, develop and manage a social media growth strategy, with defined metrics and a detailed roadmap
  • Build, lead and develop a social media team to deliver growth and engagement
  • Manage a social tracking tool and feedback insight into marketing
  • Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of our social media programs, and analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximise results
  • Monitor trends in social media, and ensure Live Nation is always a head of the curve

The Candidate

  • Senior level experience in developing social media strategies (across various platforms) in the role of a Social Media Manager either with an agency or for a brand
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their audience (Facebook, Google+, Instagram, You Tube, Twitter, Flickr etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
  • Knowledge of blogging ecosystem relevant to Live Nation
  • Experience in managing teams and influencing internal and external stakeholders
