THE COMPANY

Our client is a world leading travel organization who is looking for a talented, proactive Marketing Manager to join their busy, friendly office in West Sussex.

THE ROLE


The marketing manager will have overall responsibility for maximising the ancillary traffic and conversion on the company consumer website through effective marketing communications, promotional activity and managing digital content. Responsibilities will include:

*Developing the promotional and digital marketing strategy for ancillaries
*Contribute to the overall Leisure Marketing annual marketing plan
*Production and delivery of an annual ancillary marketing plan and oversee the detailed brand, tactical, loyalty, hotline and digital quarterly plans
*Understanding and influencing the company's promotional campaigns where appropriate to maximise group revenue
*Ensuring the most appropriate products are selected, displayed correctly and promoted
*Management and performance of paid search, affiliates and travel partners
*Defining the ancillary content strategy (destination and product) on the website
*Developing the online ancillary budget proposal that includes conversions by proposition and product type, high level GP targets and market price position
*Analysis and evaluation of promotions performance data to drive best practice and optimum ROI across all markets and channels
*Managing and developing performance of the team through effective leadership, direction and motivation

YOU

Our superb client is looking for a driven, enthusiastic online retail Marketing Manager who has excellent ecommerce, digital and affiliate marketing. You will be a great strategist and forward planner with a first rate knowledge of digital and promotional marketing. Other essential requirements are:

*A proven track record in online retailing and marketing experience
*Excellent online digital marketing including managing e-commerce transactional websites
*Solid people management experience
*Knowledge and experience of dealing with both digital marketing and promotional marketing
*Good commercial and numerical analysis experience
*Travel/leisure related background essential
