Our client is a leading player within the B2b Advertising, Marketing & Communications arena and they are expanding due to recent client wins and and increasing workload. They are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Account Manager to work closely with a talented and experienced team of Account Directors based at their head office in the North West.
As part of the Account Services team, the Account Manager will support the Account Directors by taking responsibility for a number of projects within a wide array of integrated campaigns.
*Maintaining good client relationships at operational level
*To understand Client Business/Brand/Contact Strategy
*Managing the implementation of all allocated Client programmes as defined by Brand/Contact Strategy
*Ensuring campaign implementation is on strategy/time/budget/quote
*Day to day Client liaison and Client project briefing as appropriate
*Taking a level of responsibility for the quality of the creative ideas presented to clients - ensuring factual accuracy and relevance to the creative brief.
*To present to Client (relevant comms plans and creative concepts)
*Able to write clearly and concisely in different styles required by contact reports, business emails, and creative briefs and proposals.
*The ability to judge priorities across several pieces of business and varied levels of activity
*Attending and preparing for project, Client and internal meetings
*Ensuring production of Contact Reports
*Producing Client budgets and formal quotes
*To support the account directors in the development of the business
*To mentor and support more junior account team members with their learning
*To contribute as appropriate to preparation of tender documentation, pitch preparation with Account Group Heads -including gathering of background research, preparing the pitch plan and managing the process.
*Ensuring quality control and commercial control systems are adhered to (quotes/forecasts/invoicing)
*Preparation of Creative written briefs (Projects) and verbal briefing ensuring they are available for scheduled creative work.
*Liaison and integration with all relevant Agency support services and Agency Strategic Partners
*Knowledge of B2B digital marketing
*Experienced in preparing proposals and pitches
*Ability to travel
*Proactive, confident attitude

*Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
