Client Relationship Manager

Head office in Surrey with most time spent in client offices in London.£30,000 - £35,000

The Client:

My Client is a dynamic and innovative medium sized design and marketing agency based in Surrey. They possess a great team of passionate creatives and friendly account managers who work closely with their clients to provide award-winning communication solutions. The successful candidate will be looking after a key construction client and will be based at the head office in surrey, but will be spending most of their time in client offices in London.

The Role:

·         Maintain an informal but professional relationship with clients

·         Take client briefs

·         Compile project proposals

·         Brief the creative team

·         In line with ISO procedures and using the Paprika system manage job file content

·         Produce job estimates

·         Arrange meetings to present the brief and estimated costs to the client

·         Manage projects

·         Inform the client at every stage of a project and ensure they are happy with progresses

·         Have projects signed off

·         Ensure scheduled delivery of projects

·         Instigate invoicing procedure

·         Where necessary assist accounts team by following up outstanding payments

The Candidate:

The candidate should possess a good experience of the following competencies:

·         Making and maintaining client relationships

·         Taking and recording verbal briefs from clients

·         Advising clients on how to expand original brief

·         Briefing staff, both verbally and in writing 

·         Understanding different graphic packages

·         Appreciating design and typographical detail

·         Accuracy when proof reading copy

·         Diplomacy when chasing outstanding client information and addressing perceived issues

·         Understanding clients’ businesses and industries, including relevant terminology

·         Knowledge of print and production terms and timescales

·         Project manage unsupervised client projects

·         Prioritise activities and maintain project schedules and budgets

·         Accuracy when signing off print proofs and web presentations

·         Produce job estimates

·         Management of client liaison both at meetings and remotely

·         Production of meeting reports

·         Social and networking skills

·         Produce updates of reports for Client Relationship or senior Director

·         Support of Client Relationship activities as requested

·         Target achievement

·         Typing ability
