Objectives of Position
The Online Marketing Manager EMEA manages the eCommerce Sales channel for all European markets and all Citrix Online products. The successful result is a steep increase in revenue from our eCommerce activities QoQ and a growing eCommerce share of the total EMEA revenue.
Principal Responsibilities
- Ensures the target achievement for the eCommerce revenue goals across EMEA
- Manages, allocates and administers the regional eCommerce budgets within EMEA
- Works with the Director Demand Generation EMEA, the regional Campaign Marketing Managers, the Search Marketing Manager and our media agency to define the eCommerce media mix in each region
- Analyzes performance data from internal and external tools, draws conclusions and devises strategies to capitalize on these conclusions
- Optimizes the media mix, creative and messaging in conjunction with our creative and media agencies
- Improves our website and eCommerce processes to increase conversion
- Takes ownership of the EMEA eCommerce email tracks and continuously optimizes them for increased conversion
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains and regularly updates the EMEA eCommerce reports
- Continuously improves all EMEA eCommerce processes
- Devises a sound eCommerce real-time reporting based on Google Analytics
- Makes sure all eCommerce campaign assets are fit for purpose

Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in an Online Marketing or eCommerce environment
- Experience with a wide range of digital advertising channels including display advertising and email marketing
- Extensive knowledge of online performance measurement, content management systems and web analytics tools
- Solid knowledge of conversion optimization techniques
- A basic understanding of SEO requirements
- Outstanding analytical skills and experience with data analysis
- Ideally has experience with marketing automation solutions
- Ideally has hands-on experience and can showcase a portfolio of personal web projects
