Senior Games Designer
A leading games studio in London is seeking a talented Games Designer to create world class games for the web and mobile.
You will have a portfolio demonstrating game design across all digital platforms for recognised games and global brands.
*Work closely with the Head of Game Design in both evolving existing and creating
*Deliver innovative and engaging designs within the scope of the original IP or brief,
the technical limitations of the target platforms and the constraints of the project
schedule, all the while maintaining the high quality bar already set and focus on
engaging and exciting game play.
*Define what part of the overall vision should comprise the MVP (minimum viable
product) and what can/should form part of an on-going roadmap of post-launch
content and/or feature updates.
*Where appropriate, define the requirements for, and manage the creation of, mockups and prototypes of game play mechanics, menus and user interfaces.
*Be responsible for clear and concise communication of the product vision to team
members, product owners, senior management and other relevant key stake-holders.
*Remain current on industry trends including new game genres/types, new game
design methodologies and techniques, new and emerging business models and
monetisation paradigms and emerging platforms especially smartphone, tablet and
*Manage the design process of one or more (concurrent) title through the entire life
cycle from initial concept, internal pitch, green light, through development to launch
and then post-launch through feature/content updates.
*Observe and analyse user testing and analytics and recommend design solutions to
improve or fix design features during the life of the product as a service.
Requirements and experience:
*Demonstrable industry experience in a senior game design capacity.
*Game design credits on multiple published title
*Excellent creative writing skills including proven ability to write detailed technical
design documentation and maintain it throughout the development cycle.
*Broad knowledge of, and passion for, the games sector.
*Strong presentation and influencer skills
*Able to both conceptualize and implement game ideas using various tools and

*Experience working on games for children either off-line or on-line.
