Our client an award winning integrated agency based in central London are currently looking to hire a Head of Social Media/ Senior Social Lead
This is a challenging and fast-paced role that requires someone who can manage a team of consultants and play an important role in the growth of a new department.
You will have an entrepreneurial spirit a love of pitching- a deep knowledge of the social landscape and be someone everyone is itching to work with!
You will need passion and a track record in providing strategic social media advice to clients.
Key requirements of the role include:
Be the go to person in the agency as the leader of social thinking (strategic, creative and commercial)
Manage senior relationships and oversee day-to-day relationships with the client
Retain and grow client business through desirable strategy and proactive thinking
Manage and inspire a team of consultants, junior consultants and trainee consultants to deliver effective results for clients.
Develop career plans and handle reviews for junior staff Support the managing director in managing resource allocation and revenue forecasting
Lead a team to respond to new business pitches
Organise regular agency knowledge-share sessions, manage monthly social meetings Ensure regular reviews and feedback are gathered from clients to optimise client delivery
Candidates must have:
Held a similar role in another agency
Strong confident individual who doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty
Automative or sports marketing experience would be beneficial but not a requirement Experience of providing high-level social media strategy (not just campaign strategy) Comprehensive understanding of the role of social in the wider digital marketing mix Capable of leading strategic initiatives working closely with planning, creative and clients
Ability to work independently and to lead a team
Track record of delivering results for clients
Proven track record in service delivery and operational management
