Social Media & PR Manager
You`ll be responsible for the way the business interacts with its communities and stakeholders in the digital space and through the media, in order to grow online communities, drive brand awareness, promote effective communication, and protect and enhance the credibility and reputation of the brand and organisation. Your success will come through developing and managing creative multi-channel communication and engagement programmes across blogs, social networking, digital PR, influencer management and forums. Essentially you`ll love talking to your audience, and they`ll love talking to you
Writing compelling press releases and social media content, building strong relationships with key influencers such as bloggers and journalists, managing the press office to deal effectively with proactive and reactive media enquiries, and identifying opportunities for partnerships and events will be key parts of your role. Your customer focused and analytical skills will be second to none as you will constantly be evaluating activities, making recommendations for improvement, ensuring compliance with regulations and championing Treating Customers Fairly principles.
To apply you`ll need to be well versed in developing and delivering social media, brand and PR engagement campaigns. You`ll be passionate about the digital industry, have a strong digital writing style, and excellent social media marketing skills with a focus on engagement, influencing and customer service.
In return you can expect a basic salary of £35K-£42K plus an excellent benefits package. You`ll also be working within an ethical business that promotes a friendly yet professional environment.
